Derwent Lightfast Colored Pencils
Derwent’s Lightfast pencils are an oil-based coloured pencil; formulated to be 100% lightfast (according to the ASTM 6901 standard, rating LFI or II), so the colours won’t fade for up to 100 years under museum conditions. The smooth oil base of the core creates a rich vibrancy and can be mixed on the page to create paint-like effects.
Caran D’Ache Luminance Colored Pencils
Luminance 6901® colour pencils combine exceptional lightfastness with the smoothness of a permanent lead. Produced in accordance to the ASTM D-6901 standard, they meet the requirements of the most demanding creative professionals when it comes to ensuring the original quality of their works.
Faber Castell Polychromos Colored Pencils
Polychromos are an oil based pencil, known for their creamy texture, rich vibrant pigments, and their high lightfast rating. The high lightfast ratings ensure that your artwork will stand the test of time.
Caran D’Ache Grafwood Graphite Pencils
A rich and densely pigmented graphite on a black pigment scale. Graf woods offer the largest range in value, while the hardness matches the depth of Black.
Even though all materials I use as considered lightfast and tested to be “no fade for 100 years”, this is specific to museum display. To ensure that you piece stands the test of time, please have your pieces framed under UV resistant glass, and do not hang it in direct sunlight.
